How to Host a Table Cohort
A dynamic course to develop group facilitation skills for Table Cohort hosts.
Mission Statement
We exist to create a supportive ecosystem of flourishing artists.
Background
The Table Art Society is a nonprofit that launched in 2021 in San Diego, CA as a group of people in various artistic disciplines committed to a one-year learning cohort. These cohorts are the heart of the Table Art Society, and are founded on creative recovery, spiritual formation, and sharing skills and resources. This all took place during monthly gatherings, weekly discussions, and ongoing creative collaboration which culminated as an artist showcase in the local community. Interest started to grow and we (the leadership team) saw the need to recruit and equip other leaders (Hosts) for future Table Cohorts.
This is a significant project because The Table Art Society's expansion rests primarily on this learning experience to prepare future Table Cohort Hosts with the skills and resources they need to be successful leaders.

My Process
This my passion project, and represents the coming together of my artistic background, love for leadership development, and learning design skills. I was also in the position of developing a learning experience where I’m bothe designer and learner. I worked with other leaders to conduct a needs analysis, along with all of the other hats I’ve worn, has made me feel like a superhero because I am able to bring specific skills of organization, critical thinking, and creativity to bring our ideas to life.
